Photograph magical Exmoor, capturing the beautiful light and
mood including cascading waterfalls, meandering streams, remote rugged
moorland scenes with Peter Hendrie who lives in Exmoor and will enable you to
get the best photo opportunities.
You will photograph open moor land with its unique blend of
heather and gorse and abundance of wildlife including Red Deer and Exmoor
Ponies. Also, there are deep wooded coombes that burst into life in spring
with a mass of translucent greens.
Peter is an expert at guiding his students through the process
of composition, correct exposure and other technical advice for getting that
perfect shot, thus assuring that you will not be disappointed.

Paint stunning Exmoor in any media with
Michael Sanders who lives in the West Country. You will learn to paint quaint
cottages, cascading waterfalls and dramatic moorland scenes. All abilities
welcome.
His approachable teaching methods will ensure that you get the most from
your holiday. Michael has many years experience in painting and in teaching
people how to paint in all media and is happy for you to work in oils,
acrylics, watercolour or pastels.
He will give demonstrations on building up a painting in stages, adding
atmosphere to a painting and in painting simple yet effective landscapes. As
an experienced teacher he will spend plenty of time with students on a
one-to-one basis.

(*) Single Occupancy is where one person occupies a twin or
double room.
Arrival time is from 2pm and the course introduction is at
6pm on the arrival date. The course finishes at 4pm on the departure date.
The deposit is £175 per person (or £100 for
non-residential guests).
