The Exmoor White Horse is
a traditional 16th Century building with classic period features
and has been family owned and run for generations.
It is in the heart of Exmoor, nestling by the bridge over the
river Exe.
The rooms are full of charm and character. This idyllic Inn
offers its guests a warm and welcoming atmosphere in a true West
Country style.

There are 28 bedrooms full of charm and character, some with four-poster
beds, many have beautiful views, all with en-suite facilities and each
having a character of their own.

There is a large wet weather studio on the first
floor overlooking the village green.
The menu is always replete with meats from rare breed cattle,
West Country seafood and moorland game and the chef strives to
deliver the highest quality locally produced meals.

By Car
Leave the motorway (M5) at J25, then
join the A358, then the B3224 through Wheddon Cross,
following the signs to Exford. The hotel is by the
bridge adjacent to the River Exe.
Train or Bus Station
If coming by bus or train the nearest station is
Taunton and there is a set time when we can pick you
up from there.
Airport
The nearest airports are Exeter or
Bristol which are in excess of 30 miles
away, so it is advisable to arrange your
own transport if coming by plane. However, there is a set time that we can pick
you up from Bristol Airport. |
