Much of our time will be spent on location in the Gorge or elsewhere in the Mendips. Cheddar Gorge gives plenty of scope for painting dramatic gorges and cliffs and the Mendips provide many spots with panoramic views which give plenty of scope for painting wild landscapes with mood and atmospheric skies.

There is such diversity that can be painted within this holiday and Tim Fisher is the ideal tutor who will lead you through the aspects of capturing the awesomeness of the gorges and cliffs, the atmosphere of September skies and the beauty of water and landscapes generally including boats and buildings.

Tim's approachable style in teaching will give you plenty of opportunity to gain from his insight and knowledge when it comes to capturing a scene and he will guide you through all the necessary techniques that will help when using pastels. He is good both in demonstrating techniques to a group and assisting on a one to one basis where he will provide plenty of patience and encouragement.
