Learn to paint in the stunning Cheddar Gorge and beautiful Mendip Hills with Michael Sanders who is local to the West Country, where you will learn to paint dramatic paintings of gorges, cliffs and marine landscapes in oils, acrylics or any other medium. The tuition will be very hands-on and his approachable teaching methods will ensure that you get the most from your holiday. All abilities welcome. Much of our time will be spent on location in the Gorge or elsewhere in the Mendips.

Michael Sanders who knows the area well has many years experience in painting and in teaching people how to paint. He is experienced in all media and is happy for you to work in watercolour or pastels as well as oils or acrylics. He will teach you how to paint simple yet effective local landscapes. He will give demonstrations on building up a painting in stages, adding atmosphere to a painting and will include many tips and techniques used in both Oils, Acrylics and other media. As an experienced teacher he will spend plenty of time with students on a one to one basis.
