Learn to paint landscapes in any medium with Jeremy Ford who loves to paint a diversity of landscapes and subjects. His typical English countryside paintings with trees, hedges, fences, gates and walls are of particular inspiration and he will teach you how to paint these elements in the Mendips. All abilities welcome.

The course caters for watercolours, oils, acrylics and gouache as well as sketching and drawing. Much of our time will be spent on location in the Gorge or elsewhere in the Mendips.

Jeremy is a versatile painter with over thirty years experience and he will help you to learn and enjoy painting in a friendly and informal atmosphere. He will spend lots of time with each student giving plenty of encouragement and patiently explaining various tips and techniques. With his wealth of experience he is the ideal tutor for the first-time painter as well as the advanced painter adapting his one-to-one teaching to your individual needs and the medium that you are using. The course will be tailored to the needs of the group and he will deal with any problem areas and give plenty of demonstrations to assist in the learning process.
