Watercolour Landscapes in the Wye
Valley - The 'Wow' Factor |
7th-10th May |
|
|
| |
 |
Join Steve Hall and paint in the
beautiful Wye Valley, where we will paint Tintern Abbey, the River Wye with
surrounding countryside plus areas around Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye.
Each day will be spent painting on location where Steve will use his
friendly and relaxed approach to help you improve your watercolour painting
and create those simple yet dynamic images that he admires in the work of
Edward Seago and Edward Wesson.
| |
|
|
There will be demonstrations and the opportunity for you to complete two
pictures a day under
Steve's careful guidance. He will work alongside you helping you to achieve your
goals. Steve's style is one of simplicity, yet based on observation of shapes
and tonal values. His objective will be to
encourage you to capture the scene before you with as little fuss as
possible but with awareness of the important shapes and forms that describe the
view. By following his advice your work will take on a more dynamic appearance
leading to that 'wow' factor that we all seek in our painting. | |
