Paint the stunning North Devon coast in
watercolour with Matthew Palmer, who loves to paint from life, where you will
paint cascading rivers, wooded glens, harbours and coastal scenes. All
abilities welcome.
There are many stunning locations near to the hotel including The Valley of
The Rocks, Watersmeet, and the harbour town of Lynmouth which has painting
opportunities at every turn. All abilities welcome.
You will receive plenty of one-to-one and group tuition from Matthew, as
well as step-by-step demonstrations where he will guide you through every
brushstroke in the process of producing a specific painting by demonstrating
each stage and then guiding you through that stage of your painting. He
believes it is a great way for students to learn and improve.

He has a great amount of enthusiasm and his excellent ability to communicate
makes him a very good tutor. On this course you will learn how to complete
simple scenes with basic washes all the way up to more complex scenes with
plenty of detail, where Matthew will guide you every step of the process in
completing your interpretation of the scene. |  |

Paint the stunning Cheddar Gorge and the beautiful diverse Somerset countryside
with Matthew Palmer who loves to paint from life. Much of our time will be spent
painting out on location. All abilities welcome.
You will receive plenty of one-to-one and group tuition from Matthew, as well
as step-by-step demonstrations where he will guide you through every brushstroke
